About me

Hi! My name is Elena Della Rocca and I’m an italian freelance illustrator based in Turin.
I make illustrations and character design for books, editorial projects, toys&games and sometimes for web and adv. Especially I like working for childhood, for female&feminists projects and in the social sphere because I am always eager to help spreading positive messages, culture and education trough my illustrations. My word is happy and colorful and my favorite things to draw are redhead kids and funny monsters!

I use both digital and traditional media and I take every opportunity to improve my skills and experiment new techniques and processes. I’m a very curious, dynamic and enthusiastic person with a great passion for traveling, reading, sports and every kind of adventures!

TEACHING
Through the years I’ve developed a passion and experience in planning, developing and managing educational and creative workshops for children, courses and lessons for students, technical and artistic workshops for adults.

ART DIRECTION – CONTENT CREATION – COPYWRITING
I write occasionally for blogs, websites or zines about illustration and freelance life.
I’m founder, art director and editor of Collettivo Lenti Viola
I’ve worked as visual designer and copywriter for marketing and events agencies.
